I got a cute little diaper bag digital camera for Christmas. It is a Canon A570. As a die-hard SLR user the digital SLR caught my eye but the size just did not make the cut. I wanted something I could easily carry around with me when little B starts filling up my carrying space... This little camera will be just right for snapshots and I can always use my Nikon for the special at home photo shoots that are sure to occur often.
I'll leave you with a summer shot of my puppy love, Boomer (a couple of years ago). This is a SLR shot. No digital shots will be coming your way until I get the programs uploaded and play around a bit first.

I'm going to break in the digital at a little waiting mamas spa day on Saturday (after we've had all of our beautifying treatments of course!).

i'm a die hard SLR digi myself. I have the same point & shoot and it is a great little camera. very convenient for carrying around town.

Amazing photo! My husband is very into photography and I'm hoping to become better at it now that we have a little one to capture on film! I'm barely past the remove--lens-cap-turn-power-on phase, but maybe some day?
Thanks for you comment on my blog. I can't get over the length of time you've been DTV. Wow. If it makes you feel any better (not that it will, but just in case), we started our process in January of 2006 (completed our homestudy in March 2006) and just brought home our little one this month. So even when everyone around you (in blog land) seems to be bringing home babies left and right, just remember that it will happen for you!
