My little 15 month old is a goer...he goes and goes and goes...then he crashes. Sometimes in midst of eating dinner, occasionally on the living room carpet but most often in mama's arms enjoying his sleepy time bottle of milk.
Big changes in the last month:
-no more formula for the big guy. Homogenized milk all the way (thickened of course at a ratio of 2 ounces to one rounded tablespoon of organic rice cereal)
-still loving the toys with wheels, especially if they can be pushed or rode upon by a boy that is beginning to enjoy running in place of walking
-animals, animals, animals...my boy is an animal lover. He loves his own pup of course but wants to be taken to see the horses every time we are at auntie Carol's and wants to touch every cat in the neighbourhood. Luckily they are still faster than he is!
-though the little guy will try just about anything when it comes to meal time he is a bit cautious...he likes to lick new food before committing to a good chew and sometimes it still take 3 tries before it stays in his mouth for good. But noodles? He will eat any long thin noodle. Or anything cut into the shape of a long thin noodle (like zuchinni for example)
-he's a cuddler and often a co-sleeper. Wants to be close to mama when he falls asleep and is most comfortable sleeping with mama in her bed where he can reach out and touch her every time he rolls over. The beginning of last month brought progress towards sleeping most of the night in the crib and even falling asleep in the crib but everything changed at the sick kids appointment where the wee man developed a new and VERY strong need to be close. This too shall pass.
-my boy has a wicked arm and loves to throw the ball for his best friend boomer...unfortunatly he also enjoys throwing rocks, sticks, small blocks, his spoon, breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc...you get the idea.
I'm going to add to this once I'm home from the wild west...and I'll add some pictures then as well.
