Yesterday it snowed. I anticipated a longer than average drive. And I got it.
It appears I am the only person in my neighbourhood that purchases snow tires and slows down.
I ran out of fingers counting the cars in the ditch and couldn't use toes because they were encased in woolly socks and winter boots.
Today? It wasn't snowing but there was a flash freeze.
Longer drive than yesterday.
I ordered a large tea with 2 milks at the halfway point drivethru
(usually 20 minutes into the drive? Today 1 hour or more).
She asked if I would like an aspirin with that??? Hee, hee...
I am more familiar with my Genius Baby Music CD than I wish to be.
Oh, and 50 short songs for Toddlers plays in my sleep.
Also in my sleep? A wee rear facing screech when a ballad plays...the boy prefers upbeat.
Prefers isn't really strong enough language but this is a family blog.
6 more early morning commutes
then holiday time...

Hurray for holiday time! Perhaps we can find time to get together and let the kiddies duke it out... I mean play!

Too bad it's not Vietnam, he could just cuddle on your lap while you drove...
Sometimes I think of how nice it would be to live in the country, thank you for reminding me to be grateful for what I have!
