Dude is not feeling well.
He is coughing and coughing and coughing all night long.
Every night.
Last night I stopped counting at the 12th wake up.
During the day? Fine-ish. Pretty much normal with a bit of whine thrown in.
Bedtime? A whole lotta whine.
Sounds like this even as I type.
Maaaamaaaaa. You day-er?
Mama geeeeemoooooo (sort of our last name).
Cooooooome.
Maaaamaaaa (my first name clear as day).
Where arr yuuuuu?
Maaaamaaaaa coooome.
That doesn't work so he switches strategies.
Help me help me screescree.
Mama dolphin, you day-er?
Help me help me ssssss ssssss.
Mama boa you dayer?
Who dayer? Who help me?
Ben geeeeeemoooooo need help!

Then finally?

one little one?
one little snuggle?
peeeees mama, a snuggle?
Then, like now, silence.
I just have to make it through the snuggle request. And sleep before the coughing.
Good night.

Poor, poor Ben!
He would have had me at the boa part, lol.
Hope he feels better soon!
Poor Ben and poor you. A sick toddler isn't fun. Try to have some rest.
Hmmm, nice to see the language issues have vanished...
I'm curious - does Ben lie in his bed for this conversation? Our guys skip the words and go straight to moving furniture when they want someone to come... And if so, how? Velcro? Straps?
Now that is perseverance! I'm not sure I would have made it past the last couple!
