Well, it is 27 months later.
Tomorrow marks 27 months from the date I made the decision to adopt from Vietnam. 27 months from the day I went to the Agency information session and made my final country decision. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to be waiting for my sweet son at this point in time. Unbelievable really.
All that is holding back Sweet Benjaminh's referral at this point is the release of one single document. So I wait (Tomorrow would be a great day for THE CALL!).
While I'm waiting I'd love to have my readers check in. I've been using Stat counter for about a week now and boy oh boy am I curious about my readers. I shot past the 10,000 reader's mark on Friday and I'm wondering who you are?
Some of you are very, very dedicated... but never, ever comment. I don't think Peterborough or Napean or St. George Newfoundland have commented and Jay, are you with my agency? And my real life friends, send a comment or else! I'd also love to match my U.S. readers to their state so I can dream about travelling south with Sweet Benjaminh to meet all of you!

OK - I confess,, I am responsible for at least two hits per day towrads the 10,000. Checking in. Because lord knows it has just got to be any day soon. I have many body parts crossed that all the pieces fall into place before next Friday...before the Labour Day weekend. That would be so good, Tomorrow would be better. But I am crossed for by next Friday.

Okay, I'm sure I've commented before. Right? Yikes. At any rate, I'm right there with ya, sista! We can celebrate together (virtually) at the end of the week. We'll remember this time as "The summer of 2008: Revenge of the NOIDS." And we'll laugh and laugh with our sweet little ones from Vietnam right on our laps...
I too check in on a regular basis. I am not sure why because I know that I would get "the news" via phone or email. I am counting on an email or phone call this week. I am such a loser I can never remember my yahoo password. Therefore the anonymous message. Zack is sitting on my knee kissing Emma's Barbie - too cute.

You've already got me on your list but thought I'd mention that although I check in from the Ottawa area, it always says "Toronto" in your counter. Perhaps it has something to do with the server -- who knows?
