Winter.  Fun?

I'm not a big fan of the white stuff.
I'm not a big fan of the cold.
Last winter was heavenly...though we got an enormous amount of snow I got to spend a few weeks in Hanoi in January and then come home to a parental leave that allowed me to ignore the snow and the car scraping and the dog walking until noon if that was my desire.  And it was.  Anytime it snowed.

Now?  Not so much.
First of all the short person LOVES snow.

Walking in it, sledding in it, raising his little open mouth to the sky and to catch a random flake.  So I pretend to like it.
(Notice he is all red and chilled and exposed to the elements
and I'm warm and tea drinking...thanks Uncle Bill and Uncle Matt!)

Plus?  The dog must be walked and the car warmed up for wee little toddler commuting partners.  And then there is the dressing for winter weather and the feeding the baby and eating breakfast and packing lunch and and and...all before 7am.

Can you tell my Chrismas break is almost over?

I was going through my photo archives last week looking for favourites for my 2009  post and discovered a few things...
I was at the park with Ben swinging on the swings on March 21st last year.

Hoping for an early spring in 2010.

I'm impressed you're taking on this challenge.

I go "back to work" on monday. At least i don't have to leave my house in the morning :)

And on top of all of that you are going to post everyday?

So far, so good. Two days in and going strong. I wish we were both on leave together and you didn't have to worry about all of those things before 7:00 a.m. starting on Monday morning!
Great pics!

I am so impressed. Great start.

I love the pictures.

Having seen a number of folks take this up I have followed the lead - and I am gonna try.

But no reasonable expectation of getting there.

I love the idea though.
