Photography and the unwilling subject...

So I've been playing with some of the photos I recently snapped of little C, son of big C and bigger C, neighbours and sanity keepers extrodinaire.
As you can see littlest C is having none of it.

So the big question is, how does one get the just right photo of little people with a point and shoot digital that points and then waits before it shoots? I have to keep practicing and I also have to take the SLR and lots of film to Vietnam when my turn comes.

I plan on taking both with me... and my video recorder too... SLR shots are so much better...

That is why I never use my point and shoot with the kids, they are just too fast :)
Break down, start saving for your Digital SLR. You won't regret it.

Actually, I should have my new Dig SLR by then, if I do... I'll happily lend you my other for your travels :) Then you are free to take 1000000000's of photos.
What kind of SLR do you have?

We love our Canon 5D but its amazing how little we use it. Its big and heavy and takes fantastic photos. we are shopping for a point and shoot as well for portability and likely a higher useage ratio.
there, consider yourself commmented
