at the local coffee shop today.
And it wasn't pretty.
Trust me when I say
"He was that kid".
Started with a flying bagel,
aimed at mama,
followed closely by
the removal of the aggressor from the shop
with no warnings and no coat
and ended with a temper tantrum
in a mud puddle.
A big mud puddle.
The fact that he was willing to interrupt the fit
to move to dry grass
at mama's suggestion
simply lends support
to the notion that this is a phase.
One he is fully directing.
One where he hopes to become boss.
To make things clear...
I was still boss when we got home.
The other 23 hours and 20 minutes of the day were lovely.
Simply glorious.
Sunny.
Warm.
And full of worker-man tools and bikes.
and wonderful photos that I can't seem to upload...

Glad the better part of the day was grand!! Matteo is also, believe it or not, trying to test me in a number of ways...worried for what's to come but if it is only a short part of the day, then hopefully I too will manage...!! Looking forward to the photos.
I used to say, "when you're done, lemme know!". Worked like a charm on #1. Not so much with #2. LOL
Have you seen the America's Funniest Video where the two year old makes sure the camcorder is still running, while having the fit? It's the funniest thing!
TTSP. Hopefully sooner, rather than later.
Best,
Snick :)
