Yes it is lovely.
And silent of the town noises that had begun to wear on my nerves.
Sirens and untended terriers and screaming and blaring music.
Seemingly all the time.
Instead it is
wind in trees
neighing horses
bugs and frogs
ducks and chickadees.
Daytime tractors
to thrill the boy.
I'm slowly moving us out of town
with the help of very helpful friends
and that makes me very happy.
Don't get me wrong,
there was much joy in town,
We've simply outgrown it.
Or not so simply...
decisions like this are complex
especially when you are no longer one...
but two.
He will adjust...
because town is familiar
but country brings great joy!

Need a few more little details please... You are moving? How far?
We are actually keeping the same postal code...just moving 15 or so minutes out of town and 15 or so minutes closer to work. So a 35 minute commute instead of a 50 minute commute. We will buy again down the road when I figure out where I want Ben to go to school (he will come to my school, hopefully, until Grade 5). Town school doesn't suit me...
All your wonderful pictures are making me want to move to the country too! You and Ben look so happy there.
