summer is upon us..

Dude has slept past 8 every day since the last alarm rang on Thursday.  3 times past 9.  Now add to that the 9:30 start time for our very first un-parented swimming lessons in the coldish lake on overcast days and today in the rain and you have a problem.

Took dude to swimming today before I fed him breakfast.

Won't do that again.

May in fact set an alarm for tomorrow.

It was very very ugly from about the 30 second mark.  So 29.5 minutes of very very ugly.

 Yesterday, day one of lessons was lovely and looked like this...

Rounded out the morning with a trip to town
tim hortons for mama
kawartha dairy for the dude
a bit of shopping
and now the library
and internet access
next comes a nap
for both of us

I love me some lazy summer days...
