2:15, hot and muggy...don't ya wish you were here??

Everything is good, my bags and Kristen's bags arrived, the driver was waiting for us and he didn't crash into the huge truck that cut him off, they opened the lobby to check us in, we have hot running water and lots of snacks cause Cammy is an over packer (that's Kristen's mom by the way). We have internet access in our room (room 201).

Now for a few of the hiccups...Julia C. one of the other adoptive moms in the group left 24 hours earlier than us and much to our surprise found us in the Seoul Airport due to weather delays and rerouting in Vancouver. She has NO luggage.

Parent number 3 is down in Hoi An enjoying the beaches and may be completely unaware of the change in the Giving and Receiving Ceremony date. As of right now we will be visiting the babies on the 8th at 1:30pm (the wee hours of Thursday morning your time). The G+R will be in the afternoon of the 9th....only IF parent number 3 is back from Hoi An....Otherwise everything will be delayed.

Tomorrow Kristen and I will head out to buy diapers and formula and anything else we want to.

Oh, Carol, that little wee notebook where I wrote down every single important number and address and and and...have you seen it? Ooops. Can't find it. It is blue I thingk, whith grey designs on the front??? The info I need for applying for EI hides in that booklet.

So there you have it. I'm here and Benjaminh is here and soon we meet.

Till tomorrow.

Hot and muggy. You bet I wish I was there.

Like Liz I am having a serious serious case of Hanoi
envy.

I am not liking the sound of the Hoi An beach piece.

Can't wait to hear your first impressions.

We lived in room 201 for 7 weeks in 2007. Unfortunately, I think that we had internet access for only one or two days. However, Ronit and Lydia were in that same room last year and had access most of the time. The bed in the spare room is more comfortable than the one in the master. Poor Julia, what a drag being delayed and then losing luggage on top of all that. Let's hope that Sue gets back in plently of time for a G&R on the 9th. Is it what you thought it would be like????? I am so excited that you are there.

Hey Girl,

Glad your luggage made it and I hope Julia's shows up soon. I also hope parent #3 checks her emails and arrives in time for all of you to have your G&R's on the 9th.
I'm so excited to follow what is happening. I am expecting slightly fewer posts once you have little B in your arms...

Love,
jules
